Overview

  • Location: Málaga, Spain
  • Year: 2015
  • Initiator: Metro Granada

Goal

Fitting 15 train units out to increase transport capacity and improve user comfort.

Measure

Handholds have been installed in the central aisles and side arms have been added for passenger use. In addition, some folding seats have been removed to increase train capacity.

One of the most popular requirements done by users was the need to provide handholds to avoid the uncomfortable horizontal bar and make travelling more comfortable and safer.

The removed seats provide extra space for wheelchair users and increase the capacity of the coach.
